Lloyd L. Hamilton, 93, of Wathena, Kansas died Saturday, March 3, 2018.

Lloyd was born on October 18, 1924 in Holdrege, Nebraska to James F. and Ruth (Young) Hamilton.  Lloyd served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.  He and his wife lived all of their married life in Wathena where Lloyd worked for and retired from the Union Pacific Railroad.

Lloyd married Emma Bowen in 1949 in Troy, Kansas.  She preceded him in death on May 11, 2008.  He was also preceded by his parents.

Lloyd is survived by 2 daughters; Mary Margaret Wood of Raytown, Missouri;
                                                   Billie Marie Davies of Belle Plaine, Iowa;
                                                   5 grandchildren.
FUNERAL:  Thursday, March 8, 2018 – 2:00 P.M.

At:  Harman Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena

Burial: Bellemont Cemetery in Wathena where there will be a flag folding ceremony under the auspices of the American Post #161 in Wathena.

Visitation: family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the funeral Thursday (1-2 PM) at the funeral home.
