Gwendolyn Marie McKinney Burns, 84, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Mayetta Kansas on October 25,1933 the daughter of Henry and Anna Rhodd McKinney. She was a LPN nurse and a member of the Kickapoo Tribe.

Gwen was preceded her in death by her parents, her son John Richard Davis Jr., granddaughter Lori Ann Davis, brothers, Lowell, Lucian, Henry Jr., Thaddius(Sandy), Donald (Sonny), Oran and Dwight McKinney and sisters, Buelah Ann (Bam) Euken, Adelia Mae (Dee) Gutierrez, Jeanette Bowsher.

She is survived by a sister, Itis Milton,  two sons Joseph and James Davis, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a slew of relatives and friends she loved you all.

Drum services will be at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Kickapoo Community Building on the Kickapoo Reservation. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Kennekuk Cemetery. A special message may be sent to the family at www.dishon-maple-chaney.com
