Patrick L. Yehle, 57, Valley Falls, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at a Topeka hospital.

He was born Feb. 18, 1961, at Winchester, the son of Cecil W. and Ruth E. Lewis Yehle.

Pat attended Valley Falls Elementary Special Education Classes. He moved to KNI in Topeka in 1970. In 1984 he moved to a group home in Lawrence. Pat worked as an Assembly Worker at Cottonwood Inc. until 2016.

He enjoyed many trips with Lawrence Parks and Recreation. He attended Royals and Globetrotter games, various rodeos, and the Kansas State Fair at Hutchinson. He traveled to Branson, MO, New York City, and to Nashville and Memphis, TN.

Pat attended Nortonville Pleasant Grove Church and enjoyed collecting cowboy hats.

Survivors include two sisters, Karen (Lee) Botkin, and Linda (Bill) Coleman, all of Valley Falls; a brother, Michael (Linda Jo) Yehle, Grovetown, GA; four nephews, Scott (Nancy) Botkin, David Botkin, Wayne (Buffy) Coleman, Todd (Ashlee) Yehle; two nieces, Lorena (Butch) Burdiek, and Alisa (Brian) Reeves; two great-nephews, Billy Coleman and Gage Burdiek; and four great-nieces, Laina (Andrew) Gray, Brylee Coleman, Zoey Lewis and Addison Botkin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. Burial will follow at the Valley Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
