Darcy Kaye Rodvelt, 54, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at the Wathena Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wathena, Kansas.

He was born on December 2, 1964 in Horton, Kansas the son of Eugene and Ruth Grossner Rodvelt. Darcy graduated from the Horton High School.

Darcy was a farmer and stockman all his life. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include two brothers, Doug Rodvelt of rural Horton, Kansas and David Rodvelt of rural Hiawatha, Kansas; aunts, Norma Rodvelt, Linda Gunn, Cathy Iverson, Donna Barnhart, Sharon Rodvelt, Connie Rodvelt, Patricia Rodvelt  and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends from 2:30 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Zion Lutheran Church north of Everest, Kansas with funeral services to follow at 3:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Darcy Rodvelt memorial fund to be designated later and may be sent in care of the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas.
