Cora “Louise” Miller, 93, Winchester, died Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.

She was born August 16, 1925 on the county line of Doniphan and Brown County, KS, the daughter of Daniel Verdette and Dorothy Wilcox Falley. She was a 1943 graduate of Highland High School and attended secretarial classes in Kansas City. Louise worked as a Nurses Aid at the Jefferson County Geriatric Center in Winchester from 1967 until here retirement in 1981. She was a member of the Winchester United Methodist Church. 

She married Ivan Lesley Miller on March 9, 1946 in Highland, he preceded her in death on August 15, 1987.

She is survived by two sons, Stanley (Carlene) Miller, Winchester, Gary (Carolyn Criqui -Miller) Miller, Winchester, one daughter, Teresa (George) Brown, Brownsburg, IN, a son-in-law, David Benner, Winchester, one brother, Warren Falley, Hays, KS, eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sharon Kay Miller, and Pamela Sue Benner, and one step-grandson, Jeffrey Shawn Jackson.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Winchester United Methodist Church. Burial at Plum Grove Cemetery, rural Winchester.
