Maurine Ann Zeit, 75, of Kansas City, MO, formerly of Severance, KS died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital North, Kansas City, MO.

Funeral services will be 11:30 am on Saturday, Aug. 31st, 2019 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Baier , Pastor of the Antioch Bible Baptist Church, Gladstone, Mo officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Louis Church Cemetery, Good Intent, KS. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am on Saturday, Aug. 31st, 2019 until time of service at the funeral home. Maurine Ann Ricklefs was born on April 15, 1944 in Severance, KS the daughter of Norman and Mary Frances (Martin) Ricklefs. She graduated from Midway-Denton High School in 1962. Maurine worked as a cook for several locations including the Watkins Mill Troubled Kids Home, and the Liberty Hospital. She was married to Richard Zeit on April 24, 1965 at the St. Louis Church, Good Intent. He preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 1984. She enjoyed cooking, and especially playing with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons; Russell Earl Zeit, Lathrop, MO, Robert (Christan) Zeit, Kansas City, MO, a daughter, Stacy Ann (Harry Lee) Blair, Lathrop, MO, a brother Warren (Phyllis) Ricklefs, Laramie, WY, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Her parents, husband Richard, an infant son, a brother Charles Ricklefs, and a sister Frances Marie Eickhoff preceded her in death.
