Kathy Mumm, 67, of Rulo, NE, passed away January 9, 2021 at Lincoln, NE. She was born January 1, 1954 at Falls City to Lester and Dorothy (Gerweck) Fisher.

She married Brad Mumm on July 13, 1974 at Rulo, NE. He passed away August 12, 2010

Kathy was raised at Rulo and graduated Falls City High School in 1972. She was the Pinto Queen in 1972. When married the couple established their home in rural Salem, NE and they lived various places in Richardson County until moving to Rulo, where they she has lived since. She was a homemaker, child care provider, took care of the livestock they raised at the farm and was a loving grandmother. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Falls City Riding Club and life member in the Pinto and Paint Horse Association.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Mumm of Falls City, brother, Gary Fisher and his wife Margaret of Rulo, sister, Pat Bauman and her husband Dave of Verdon and a granddaughter, Jessica Sells. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A Mass of Christian Burial for family and close friends will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Stoley as the presiding priest. Interment will be in Falls City Catholic Cemetery.

A Parish Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the church.
