William “Bill” Glace, age 74, of Sabetha, KS passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the University of Kansas Medical Center, St. Francis Campus.

Bill was born December 12, 1946 in Clay Center, KS the son of Warren and Marie (Oetinger) Glace. Bill graduated from Bern High School and later from Kansas State University. Bill served in the National Guard. Bill married Janie Hightower April 13, 1968. She survives. Bill worked as a farmer and bulldozer operator. Bill was an active member of the Northridge Church, Gideon’s International, One Mission Society and Men for Missions.

Bill is survived by his wife, Janie of over 53 years; a son, Benjamin (Emily) Glace of Sabetha; three daughters, Gina (Jeff) Walton of Olathe, Kim (Wayne) Krause of Olathe and Shelly (Jesse) Herrmann of Andover, KS; a brother, Bob Glace of Cedar Falls, IA; two sisters, Warrene Stadler of Silver Lake, KS and Ardis Glace of Palm Springs, CA; 15 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Northridge Church. Visitation will be one hour before the services from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will be at the Albany Cemetery.
