Brent Lewis Craft, 62, of Valley Falls, KS, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. He was born February 22, 1959, in Topeka, KS, the son of Charles Lewis and Jacqueline Joyce (Humphrey) Craft.

          Brent graduated from Valley Falls High School in 1977. He worked in auto parts management for Auto Zone and Advanced Auto, both in Topeka. He worked in management for many fast-food restaurants, including Long John Silver’s, Godfather’s Pizza and Burger King. Most recently, Brent worked for the State of Kansas in the Department of Revenue.

          He married Julie Louise Sands on September 19, 1980, in Oskaloosa, KS. They celebrated over 41 years of marriage.

          Survivors include his wife, Julie of the home; son, Chuck Craft (Calie) of Meriden, KS; 2 daughters, Maggie Giebler and Kate Craft both of Valley Falls, KS; 6 grandchildren, Cameron, Gavin, Jayden, Cale, Chris and Charley; nephew, Derrick Wilbur (Cait) of Yukon,OK and great-nephew, Ricky.

          He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jacqueline Craft and sister, Brenda Wilbur.

          Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Topeka.
