Lincoln Brown
Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton
Kickapoo Reservation, KS

Lincoln Combs Brown, 58, of the Kickapoo Reservation sadly passed away after succumbing to his injuries following a vehicle accident on March 26, 2022.

He was born on August 29, 1963 in Holton, Kansas the son of James and Alberta Cadue Brown. He worked as a security guard at the Golden Eagle Casino and the Sac-N-Fox Casino. He had also worked for the Kickapoo Water Department. Lincoln lived in Horton, KS where he was known and respected by many.  He was a simple man with a huge heart and could be counted on to listen and give wise advice.  He worked hard to overcome his demons and even harder to help those he cared about.  If you were friends with Lincoln, you became family. Lincoln loved hunting, paintball, reading books, sports, Dungeons and Dragons and anything supernatural.  Those who knew him will tell you he was always happy and wanted to make sure everyone around him was happy.  He would tell jokes and act silly to make everyone laugh.  He was known as being a protector, looking out for the little guy, and always keeping everyone under his wing.

Lincoln is survived by a daughter, Kyla Brown (Tony Wigle) of Ashland, Nebraska; five sons, Thor (Emily) Brown of Ottawa, Kansas, Zach Brown of Horton, Kansas, Lynx (Megan) Brown of Hiawatha, Kansas, Cain Brown of Hiawatha, Kansas and Jacob Brown of Topeka, Kansas and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Betty Brown and a brother Gordon Brown.

In remembrance of Lincoln Brown, there will be a dinner on April 10th, 2022 at 2pm at the Kickapoo Community Building on the Kickapoo Reservation. A special message may be sent to the family at www.dishon-maple-chaney.com
