Warren Oxandale
Salina formerly of Wetmore, KS

 SALINA – Warren Oxandale, 88, of Salina, formerly of Wetmore, died Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Kaye Pogue Hospice Center inSalina.Warren was born December 22, 1923 in Wetmore, the son of George and Matilda Linnewah Oxandale.  He graduated from NetawakaHigh School in 1941. He was a farmer who raised cattle and ran a poultry operation near Wetmore, KS.  He was employed by J.B.N. Telephone Co., coached American Legion Baseball, and was a member of the Wetmore United Methodist Church.Warren was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Oxandale, who died in 1996, and also by nine siblings, Reona, George (Jud), Herbert, Melvin, Frank, Harold, Bernice, Leo and Velma. Survivors include Eula Oxandale, two sons; Brian Oxandale and wife Kim, Salina, and Brad Oxandale and wife Sherry, Holt, MO;  a daughter, Marcia Troutfetter and husband George, Salina; one brother, Glen Oxandale and wife Doris, Wetmore, twelve grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Visitation: Wednesday, August 15th from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.  Memorial Service: August 16th 2012 at 2:00 p.m..  Both will be held at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton, KS.  There will be no graveside service.  Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers, to KayePogue Hospice Center in Salina, and may be sent in care of Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, P.O.
