Ann Vere (Keithley) Albu passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at her home in Falls City, surrounded by family and loved ones. Ann, the eldest of six children, was born on June 6, 1953 to Lowell and Merilyn (Shafer) Keithley. She grew up on a farm Northwest of Falls City and attended Maple Grove country school District #47 through eighth grade. Ann then attended Sacred Heart High School graduating with the class of 1971.

In 1971, Ann was united in marriage to Thomas R. Jones at Immaculate Conception in Rulo, Nebraska. To this union three children, Sarah, Luke, and Levi were born. In 2008, Ann was united in marriage to Bradley Albu at St. Anne- Catholic Church in Shubert, Nebraska. The couple lived in Falls City and enjoyed spending some winter months in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Ann was a member of Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents Lowell and Merilyn Keithley and her brother Jerome Keithley.

Ann is survived by her loving husband Bradley, children: Sarah (Jesse) Neddenriep, Luke Jones, Levi Jones (Courtney Bybee), step-children: Bridget (Jimmie) Higby, Stephanie (Bob) Ebel and Teresa Albu (Mike Mirelez), Grandchildren: Abbey (Ben) Mullins, Andrew Neddenriep, Nathan Neddenriep, Matthew Neddenriep, Ethan Neddenriep, Zachary Baker, Zoe Ebel, Zane Ebel, Zavier Ebel, Alexis Bruckner, Montana Mirelez, Jayden Mirelez, Olivia Mirelez. Great Grandchildren: Joel Baker, Pierce Mullins, Perpetua Mullins, and Ainslynn Bruckner. Brothers: Jon (Kathy) Keithley, Jeff (Denise) Keithley, Joe (Tiffany) Keithley, her sister Frances (Ed) Finn, sister-in-law Michelle Keithley, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Falls City, Nebraska with Father James Meysenburg officiating. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. at St. Anne- Catholic Cemetery in rural Shubert, Nebraska.

Family will greet friends from 4-5 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Falls City with a Rosary Recitation at 5 p.m.
