Joyce Faye Park, 87, formerly of Rushville, MO died on Saturday, Sept. 16th, 2023, at the St. Joseph- Senior Living Center, St. Joseph, MO.

Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, Sept. 25th, 2023, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Champ officiating. Burial of cremated remains will follow in the Sugar Creek Cemetery, Rushville, MO. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Joyce was born on March 23, 1936, in Atchison, KS, the daughter of Frank and Irene (Brown) Black. She graduated from Rushville High School in 1954. Joyce was a housewife and homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, fishing, antiques, garage sales, and collecting porcelain dolls. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was married to Bill Park on June 4, 1955, in Atchison, KS. Mr. Park preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1999. Survivors include a son Billy Park, Rushville, MO, a daughter Debbie Park, Rushville, MO, two sisters JoAnn Dotson, Atchison, and Sherry (Larry) McElfresh, Rushville, MO, two grandchildren Rachel Park, Rushville, MO and Tyson (Abbi) Park, Atchison, KS, a great grandson Dylan Park, Rushville, Mo and two step grandchildren Dane and Austin Jerpe, Atchison, KS. Her parents, husband Bill, a brother James Franklin Black, a great grandson Tanner Park, and a brother-in-law, Carl Dotson preceded her in death.
