Jason Wayne Gilbert, 46, of Horton, Kansas passed away on September 12, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Jason was born on April 9, 1977 in Horton, Kansas the son of Peggy Lawrence and Jack Gilbert.

After meeting his fiance, Jaimie Schauf of thirteen years, he moved to New Castle, Colorado where he enjoyed mountain life.

He had most recently moved back to Horton, Kansas.

Jason loved playing disc golf, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.

Jason was proceeded in death by his father, Jack Gilbert, his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Jason is survived by his mother, Peggy Lawrence, fiance, Jaimie Schauf, son, Wesley White, step children, Courtney Schauf, Caleb Schauf and Caitlyn Schauf, two sisters, Kelly Campbell and Rachel Gilbert, two brothers, Earl "ET" Brown II and Levi Gilbert and numerous uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jason gave the gift of life to others by donating his organs to those in need.
