Iva Kay Jacobson, 81, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Amberwell Health in Hiawatha, Kansas.

She was born on December 24, 1941 in Horton, Kansas, the daughter of Willie and Audra Glenn Berry.

Iva was a homemaker and had also worked for the Brown County Treasures office, as a bookkeeper for three different car dealerships and in later years she was a cashier at Jim- Thriftway before retiring.

On April 13, 1968 she married John Alfred Jacobson at the Zion Lutheran Church north of Everest, Kansas. He preceded her in death on August 11, 2014.

Survivors include four sons, Joseph (Jonna) Jacobson, Nathan (Marian) Jacobson, Richard Jacobson and Michael (Paula) Jacobson; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dena Jamison.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends on Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M.
