Sandra Jean Hawkins (White), 66, passed away peacefully at her home in Horton Kansas on Monday October 9, 2023. Sandy was born in Horton, Kansas on February 13, 1957.

She was the daughter of Mary and Lewis White.

Sandy grew up in Muscotah Kansas and attended school in Effingham Kansas.

Sandy worked many of jobs from waiting tables, to running her own restaurant, and at the shutter factory. Sandy- work life was cut short due to health issues. Sandy married the love of her life, Dennis Hawkins Sr on April 7, 1990. They made their home in Horton Kansas.

Sandy enjoyed bingo, bowling, shopping with her sister, spending time with her grandchildren and recently hanging out at daycare! She was the light of every room. She was always there to help and would do anything for anyone.

She is proceeded in death by, her husband Dennis Hawkins Sr, her parents Mary and Lewis White, and a sister Mary Soden.

She is survived by her kids, Dennis (Sam) Hawkins of Horton Ks, Tiffany (Donnie) Nigh of Everest Ks, Amber (John) Koch of Horton Ks. One stepdaughter, Kendina (Paul) Stauch of MO. Six grandchildren Garrett, Kaison, and Aubree Hawkins, Jadince and Korben Gutierrez, and Ella. Three sisters, Eva Fetty of Horton, Cheryl Frayer of Powhatan, Ilene White of Horton, a brother, Elmer White of Hiawatha. Numerous nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews.

Graveside services will be Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 10:00am at the Muscotah cemetery. Celebration of life to follow at the Lentz Express Catering Building.
