Geneva Marie Dunster, 94 of Atchison, KS, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the Medicalodge of Atchison.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM on Monday, Oct. 23rd, 2023, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Cochran officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Effingham Union Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Geneva was born February 2, 1929, in Bendena, KS, the daughter of Alta Thomas and Florence (Jones) Foster. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1946. Geneva was a homemaker. She was a member of the Effingham Union Church, the Hospital and VFW Auxiliary. Geneva enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, traveling, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Geneva married Dwight Dunster on July 6, 1946; he preceded her on September 30, 1990. Survivors include a son, Alan and Connie Dunster Effingham, KS, a daughter Carol and Steve Libel, Naples, FL, six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was also preceded by her parents, a son Thomas Dunster, four sisters, Sara Tilbury, Frances Reynolds, Betty Kirkham and Edith Kurtz and a grandson Tony Dunster
