Dwayne Allen Snyder, 69, of Humboldt, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the Tabitha Journey House in Lincoln, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of sixty-nine years, eight months, and nineteen days.

Dwayne was born on May 2, 1954, in Humboldt, Nebraska to Harley and Erma (Fielder) Snyder. He attended Falls City Public Schools and graduated from Humboldt High School with the class of 1973. He continued his education at Dodge City Community College and SCC Milford/Lincoln in Electronics. On June 28, 1973, Dwayne entered into active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps in Omaha, Nebraska and was honorably discharged on February 2, 1978, in Camp Pendleton, California. He later retired with the rank of Sergeant after 24 years of service in both the Kansas and Nebraska Army National Guard. Dwayne was a member of the Marine Corps Association, Marine Corps League and life member of the 3rd Marine Division Association. He had several careers over his lifetime including a phlebotomist, Quality Control Environmental Lab Technician and Electronic Technical Lab Assistant. He was also a member of the Christian Church in Humboldt, Nebraska.

Dwayne is survived by his son John Robert Snyder and wife Mandy of Blue Rapids, KS; daughters Angelica Dawn and Elizabeth Nicole, six grandchildren, and several siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous siblings.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Christian Church in Humboldt, Nebraska with Pastor Howard Blecha officiating and military honors conducted.

Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the Wherry Mortuary, 207 N. Nemaha Street in Humboldt, Nebraska.

Interment will be at the Bohemian Cemetery east of Table Rock, Nebraska.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family's choice with a later designation.
