Shirley Reimers, 78, of Shubert, NE, passed away March 29, 2024 at Omaha, NE. She was born December 16, 1945 at Auburn, NE to Luther and Basha (Smith) Reimers.

Shirley was raised in Stella and moved to Shubert in 1991 and has lived there since. She was employed by various nursing homes throughout the years, working in the kitchen, laundry and housekeeping departments. She worked up until September of 2023. She enjoyed watching wrestling and Heehaw.

Shirley is survived by her grandchildren, John Hall of California, Noah Hall of Falls City, Lena Cobb and her husband Kyle of Herington, KS, brother Fred Reimers and his wife, Marcia of Shubert, great-grandchildren, Taylor Donahoo, Parker and Peyton Dodge and her nephews, Seth and Justin Reimers. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Susie Sieckman and a brother, Max Reimers.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. Interment will be in Stella Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
