Dennis Carol Liggatt

Dennis Carol Liggatt, 77, formerly of Muscotah, Kansas, passed away on April 15, 2024 at the Medicalodge in Holton, Kansas.

He was born on July 3, 1946 in Horton, Kansas the son of Roy and Lorene Rohlfs Liggatt.

He graduated from Whiting High School where he played baseball. After high school he attended Highland Jr. College and Washburn University for a short time.

He was a member of the Netawaka Lutheran Church.

After several car accidents he became disabled and lived at home until 2015 at which time he moved to the Medicalodge until his passing.

Dennis was the best, always had a smile, his famous quote "see what you get for Christmas" if he didn't want it or didn't like it.

Survivors include a brother, Gale Liggatt of Muscotah, Kansas; niece, Sonja Hamilton; cousins, Lowell (Deb) Liggatt of Muscotah, Kansas, Larry (Carolyn) Williams of Cave Springs, Arkansas, Ruth Ann (Rohlfs) Barratt of Lakewood, Colorado, Carolyn (Rohlfs) Kuckelman of Topeka, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service and burial will be at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Muscotah Cemetery.
