Obituaries Announcements
Emilee Ann Sauer, age 7, of Seneca was called home to heaven on March 28, 2025, after sustaining injuries in a tragic 4-wheeler accident.
Emilee was born on December 18, 2017, to Justin Sauer and Shannon Frikken at Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca. From the moment she entered the world, Emilee brought joy, light, and laughter to everyone she met. She was a bright, energetic child who had an undeniable spark that radiated wherever she went.
A student at Nemaha Central Elementary School, Emilee was a proud "graduate" of kindergarten in May of 2024 and was currently a first grader. She loved to learn, and her curiosity was matched only by her love for adventure. A true outdoors enthusiast, Emilee could often be found playing outside, riding her bike, running through fields, climbing trees, and enjoying the simple wonders of nature.
Emilee's family was everything to her. She cherished her siblings, Baylee and Wyatt, and loved spending time helping her dad on the farm. Emilee shared a special bond with her mom, she enjoyed their "just us" days filled with ice cream, manicures and sparkle. Her laughter, warmth, and kind heart will forever be missed by her loved ones. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Bruce and Cheri Sauer of Seneca, and maternal grandparents, Greg and Angel Frikken of Wamego, who held her close in their hearts.
While hearts are broken by her untimely passing, take comfort in knowing that Emilee's spirit will live on in the memories of her—her bright smile, her infectious laughter, her vibrant spirit, and her ability to bring joy to even the darkest of days. Emilee was an angel on earth, and now she is an angel in heaven, watching over those who loved her. May she rest in peace.
Emilee's family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Thurs, April 3, 2025 at the Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca. Funeral Services will be at 2 P.M. on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the Northridge Church in Seneca. The Burial will be in the Seneca City Cemetery.
Memorials will be designated at a later date. To express your sympathy and for more information visit www.lauerfuneralhome.com .
