Judith Ann "Judy" Hayes, 75 of Topeka, Kansas passed away March 17, 2025 surrounded by her children. She was a patient at Stormont Vail Hospital Hospice Unit in Topeka, Kansas.

Judy was born in Atchison, Kansas on January 19, 1950 the daughter of Charles and Helen Pickerel Betts, the ninth of twelve children. She attended Mount St. Scholastica High School.
She was married to Michael Trower and later divorced.
Judy was employed by Atchison Senior Village, Atchison Medicalodge Nursing Home, Valley Falls Nursing Home, Dr. Ryders office in Valley Falls, Kansas and Topeka Dialysis in Topeka. She also did private home care for a couple in Topeka for many years.

Judy is survived by a son, Tony (Laura); three daughters, Angie (Richard) Haverty of Tecumseh, KS; Becky (Scotts) Brown, Meriden, KS; Rachel Rice and a sister, Sally Brady.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Gene, Bill, Robert, Jim, Michael, and Walter; four sisters, Juanita Betts, Peggy Emery, Rita Reiff and Lisa Piper.

There will be a memorial service in Topeka, Kansas at a later date with burial of cremated remains in Oak Hill Cemetery in Atchison, Kansas.
