Keenan K. Rose

Keenan K. Rose, 59, of Omaha, Nebraska was born on February 16, 1966, in Superior, Nebraska to Jerald Kent and Cheryl (Tuma) Rose. He was baptized and was a former member of the Presbyterian Church in Mahaska, Kansas. Keenan attended North Central grade school and later graduated from North Central High School in Morrowville, Kansas with the class of 1984. During his high school years, he worked for Walmart in Fairbury, Nebraska. After graduating, Keenan continued his education at Brown Mackie College in Salina, Kansas where he studied Fashion Merchandising. He later moved to Lincoln, Nebraska where he owned and operated his business "Formal Fantasies" located in the Haymarket for many years. After selling his business, Keenan moved to Florida where he was a manager at Woolworth's, Party City, and Hallmark. He later moved back to Omaha, Nebraska to be closer to his mother and family.

Over the years, Keenan spent a lot of his time and resources supporting a couple of organizations that were near and dear to his heart. While living in Florida, he began to work with the Big Brother and Big Sister Program where Keenan was introduced and mentored his little brother Kaden. He was also a proud supporter of the USA Ambassador Pageant and served as a board of director for the organization.

Keenan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Hillcrest-Firethorn Nursing Home in Lincoln, Nebraska having reached the age of fifty-nine years, four months, and one day. He is preceded in death by his father; brother Kevin Rose, his paternal and maternal grandparents, step-fathers Dwain "Dewey" Compton and Gordon Clement, and step-brother Mike Clement.

Keenan is survived by his loving mother Cheryl Clement of Humboldt, NE; niece Ashley Wit and husband Tyler of Chester, NE; great-nieces Grace and Lillian Wit of Chester, NE; an aunt Judy Wilson and husband Roger of Lincoln, step-brother Gregg Clement and wife Jo Anne of Table Rock, NE; step-sister Marla Finke and husband Scott of Deshler, NE; and other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Keenan's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025, at the United Methodist Church in Table Rock, Nebraska with Dorothy Smith officiating. A live-stream broadcast of Keenan's celebration will be available on our Wherry Mortuary/Monument Facebook page.

Graveside Inurnment Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Mahaska Cemetery in Mahaska, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be given to the USA Ambassador Pageant Program in Keenan's memory.
