Brett Wayne Bontrager, 45, of Horton, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka, Kansas.

Brett was born to Connie (Chilson) Bontrager and Gary Bontrager on March 10, 1980 in Hiawatha, Kansas.

Brett was an avid sports fan; Florida State was his favorite team. He also loved K-State football and keeping up with the royals when he could. Brett was also a devoted fan of country and hard rock music. He worked in the Masonry field as a bricklayer for many years in the surrounding area. Brett will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Brett was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Sue Bontrager, on September 30, 2012. Brett is survived by his father, Gary Bontrager of rural Horton, Kansas.

The family is planning to have a private service at a later date.
