Charlotte Ann (Larrison) Utz, 76, of Holton, Kansas passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Charlotte was born on March 9, 1949, to the late Donald and Rosie (Wilson) Larrison. She was raised on a farm southwest of Circleville and graduated from Circleville High School. After high school, Charlotte attended Clark's Business School in Topeka and worked for the state of Kansas for two years.

On January 3, 1969, Charlotte married Kenny Utz. Together, they shared 56 years of devoted marriage and a life dedicated to farming in the Larkinburg and Arrington communities.

Charlotte had a deep love for her community, especially for her neighbors. She was a member of the Larkinburg Christian Church since 1973. She was active in the church's Ladies Group, the Happy Hour Club, and the East Grant Unit. She was also a proud, lifelong supporter of the local 4-H clubs and the county fair.

As a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Charlotte found great joy in her family. Known affectionately as "Gramma Charlotte," she cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She had an enormous heart for animals of all kinds and an appreciation and fondness for nature. She loved being outdoors, fishing, and watching the sunrise. Charlotte planted abundant gardens and enjoyed growing flowers, plants, and trees. Her generous spirit and warm hospitality were consistently present, whether hosting a gathering for a celebration or playing a game of cards, she enjoyed bringing people together.

Charlotte also worked for 18 years managing the Holton Livestock Exchange Café, where she cared deeply for her customers and the people she worked with. Before managing the café, she served as a substitute rural mail carrier within Jackson County.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Kenny; 3 children- Robin of Alexandria, VA, Bill (Shauna) of Kansas City, MO, Aaron (Cody) of Holton, KS; 9 grandchildren- Brooke (Nathan), Braden, Grant, Alexis (Thomas), Lilly, Jack, Grace, Isaac, and Preston; and 4 great-grandchildren- Adalynn, Oliver, Archer, and Evander. Sister in-laws, Donna Larrison, Coweta, OK, and Barbara Utz, Winchester, VA.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by her brother, Stan Larrison, and her brother in-law, Don Utz.

Charlotte's memory will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She was generous, loving, and full of energy and fun. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and community.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at the Larkinburg Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
