Esther Burgett, age 85, of Humboldt, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, at the Colonial Acres Nursing Home in Humboldt, Nebraska.

Funeral Services for Esther Burgett will be held at 10:30 p.m. on Friday, at the Faith Lutheran Church in Humboldt, with Reverend Matthew Mortenson officiating.

Visitation will held be from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Wherry Mortuary in Humboldt.    

Interment will be at the Humboldt Cemetery.

Esther is survived by her husband John Burgett of Humboldt, NE; daughter-in-law Marilyn Burgett of rural Humboldt, NE; grandchildren: Eric (Shannon) Burgett of Lewiston, NE; Scott (Kristine) Burgett of rural Humboldt, NE; great-grandchildren: Johnathan, Evelyn, and Eleanor Burgett; brothers-in-law: Paul (Elaine) Burgett of rural Humboldt, NE; Jim Burgett of Kansas City, MO; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
