Larry R. Tessendorf, 72, of Circleville, KS passed away May 9, 2014 at his home. He was born July 11, 1941 in Westmoreland, KS the son of Walter and Helen (Barclay) Tessendorf.

Larry went to Belvue Grade School and graduated from Wamego High School. He worked for Goodyear Tire Company for 30 years and he was a farmer. Larry was a member of the Circleville Saddle Club.

Larry married Mary E. McCauley on January 15, 1972. She survives of the home. Other survivors include 5 sons, James Miller (Joanne) of Circleville, KS, Larry Tessendorf (Gina) of Circleville, KS, Earl Miller (Kathy) of Manhattan, KS, Vern Miller (Keri) of Holton, KS and Clayton Tessendorf of Circleville, KS; 2 daughters, Deborah Wildt (Charles) of Scio, OR and Lori Southard (Bill) of Council Bluffs, IA; a brother Clifford Tessendorf (Betty) of Belvue, KS; 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Eugene Tessendorf, a sister, Karen Riniker and a granddaughter, Jennifer Tessendorf- Edwards.

 Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
