Thomas “Tom” Arthur Murray, 78 of Pawnee City, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 with his family by his side.  He was bon on October 25, 1935 to Calvin and Katherine (Bridget) Murray in Kinsley, Iowa.

He graduated from Kinsley High School in Kinsley, Iowa and after graduation he joined the Army.

He was preceded by his parents Calvin and Katherine Murray, one sister and three brothers.

He is survived by the love of his life, Erma Murray of Pawnee City; his five children, Debra and husband Dale Klein , Daniel Murray, Doreen Noahr, Dana Murray and Darla and husband Jerry Schoville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Steianuer. A Rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Visitation is at the Wherry Mortuary in Pawnee City from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, with family greeting friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Inurnment will be at a later date at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Steinauer.
