Toby T. Stone, 37, of Fairview, KS died unexpectedly Sunday evening, June 8, 2014 at the Hiawatha Community Hospital.

He was born October 22, 1976 in Hiawatha, KS the son of Tom and Debra Brushwood Stone.  Debra preceded him in death September 10, 1985.  Toby grew up and attended schools in Hiawatha graduating with the Class of 1995.  He then attended and graduated from Highland Community College.

Toby has worked the past 16 years at Sac & Fox Casino in the surveillance dept.  He loved to go fishing and he did not know a stranger.  Toby loved to watch any kind of sports.

He was married to Bridget Hobbs June 19, 1998 in Hiawatha, KS.  She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Ryan Carlson and Dylon Stone, both of the home.  His parents, Tom and Beverly Stone of Hiawatha also survive.  Toby is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, family, and friends.

A Celebration of Toby’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha.  Tony French will officiate.  Cremation will follow services with inurnment to be held at a later date.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, June 13, 2014 at the funeral home from 6-8:30 p.m.  Memorials are suggested in his name and may be sent in care of the funeral home, 124 S. 7th St.  Hiawatha, KS  66434.
