Tom Henry Cadue, 68 of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at his home. He was born on April 10, 1946 on the Kickapoo Reservation, the son of Rollett and Josephine Thomas Cadue. Tom was a truck driver. He was a member of the Kickapoo Tribe and the Drum religion. Tom is survived by two daughters, Tammy Cadue and Lisa Poeverlein both of Lawrence, Kansas; son, Steven Cadue of Lawrence, Kansas; brother, Steve Cadue of Lawrence, Kansas; sister, Angie Cadue of Horton, Kansas; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Geraldine Masqua, four brothers, Virgil, Vernon, Lorenzo and Thurman Shopteese. Drum services will be at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Kickapoo Community Building. Burial will be at 9:00 A.M. on Friday at the Kennekuk Cemetery on the Kickapoo Reservation.
