Anthony "Tony" Kerner, 87, of Tecumseh, died June 9, 2014 at his home in Tecumseh. Retired owner of Kerner True Value in Tecumseh. 

He is survived by his wife, Rose Kerner of Tecumseh, children, Daniel Kerner of Lincoln, Alan Kerner and wife Susie of Tecumseh, Vincent Kerner and wife Gina of Tecumseh, Gregory Kerner and wife Shiela of Fairbury, Patricia Holthus and husband David of Tecumseh and Linda Kreifels and husband Troy of Lincoln, 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sisters, Alice Eckles and husband Bill of Lincoln and Joan Douglas and husband Ray of Humboldt, nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, Robert “Bob” Evans of Marysville, KS and many friends. 

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Eunice Evans, grandson, Joshua Kerner and great granddaughter, Kayla Stevens. 

Mass of Christian Burial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tecumseh, Nebraska with Father Thomas Dunavan officiating. Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Friday, June 13, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Memorials may go to the Tecumseh Ball Association or the family’s choice. Inurnment will be in the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, Tecumseh, Nebraska.
