Teresa M. Chab, 76, of Falls City, NE, passed away June 13, 2014 at Lincoln, NE. She was born March 4, 1938 at Fairmont, NE to the late John and Mary (Cecava) Stech.

On August 22, 1959 she married Robert J. Chab at Tobias, NE. He passed away January 6, 1984

Teresa was raised near Milligan, NE and graduated from Milligan High School in 1956. She attended Fairbury Junior College and Doane College, working towards an elementary teaching degree. She taught school near Milligan before being married and once married the couple established their home at Crete, NE and she worked for Lincoln Public Schools and after moving to Falls City she was a secretary for South School for many years. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, PCCW, Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Teresa is survived by her son, John and his wife Terri of Lincoln, grandchildren, Natasha, Alisha and Austin Chab of Lincoln, Robert and Ryan Chab of Falls City, daughter-in-law, Ronda Chab of Falls City.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Monsignor Robert A. Roh as the presiding priest. Interment will be in Falls City Catholic Cemetery.

A Catholic Daughter Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, 4:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. A Parish Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, 5:30 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the Parish Rosary at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
