Jason Nolte

Jason Lee Nolte, 31, of Denver, Colorado, formerly of Seneca, Kansas was killed on Saturday, June 21, 2014, while at work at Manko Window Systems, in Aurora, Colorado.

Jason was born March 5, 1983 in Seneca the son of Robert and Kathleen Nordhus Nolte.

Jason grew up in Seneca and attended Sts. Peter and Paul Grade School; in 1995, the family moved to White Cloud and he attended Highland High School, graduating in 2001.  For a couple of years Jason worked for Fairview Mills; before he began his college career at Kansas State University. While in Manhattan he worked for Manko Window Systems. Jason then went to work for Swims and Sweeps in Topeka for two years, before returning to Manko Window Systems. Last March, he was transferred to Aurora, Colorado and was the Production Manager at the plant in Colorado.

Jason was an avid KSU fan and enjoyed all sports, he liked to hunt and fish and anything with the outdoors.

 Jason was preceded in death by his grandfather, Cletus Nolte on January 13, 1976.

Jason is survived by his fiancée, Lindsay Biggs of Aurora, Colorado; his parents, Robert and Kathleen Nolte of Seneca; his brothers, Ryan (Andrea) Nolte of Topeka, Eric Nolte of Fremont, NE, Craig Nolte of Seneca and Cory Nolte of Seneca; a niece and a nephew, Chance and Macy; grandparents, John and Bernice Haug Nordhus of Seneca and Alfred and Darlene Stallbaumer Nolte Roeder of Seneca.

Rosaries will be prayed at 2 and 7 PM, Friday, June 27, 2014 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Seneca. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 AM on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Seneca.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials in Jason's memory may be given to St. Peter and Paul School, and sent in care of the family.
