Peru State Softball Team Splits Doubleheader
04/12/2012

For the Peru State College (PSC) Bobcat softball team, the road to the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) conference post-season tournament did not get any clearer after splitting a double header with Missouri Valley College on Wednesday.

The Bobcats came back to take the first game from the home-standing Vikings 6-4 in eight innings, but dropped the second game in the bottom of the seventh, 6-5.

With the split, PSC is 4-6 in the HAAC and 22-18 overall.  Missouri Valley is 11-14 overall and 3-5 in the conference.
