A Humboldt, Nebraska man is facing a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
42 year old Richard Blecha Jr. was arrested by the United States Marshall’s Service last Friday on a felony charge.
Blecha was indicted on the charge in U-S District Court Monday in Omaha. A trial date has not been set and Blecha remains in custody of the U.S. Marshall’s Service.
According to a spokesperson with the U-S District Attorney’s Office Blecha is accused of possession a short, 12-gauge shotgun. Since he was previously convicted of a felony charge and spent time in prison, he is not allowed to be in possession of firearms.
