Muscotah Man Killed in Single Vehicle Crash

(KAIR) -- A 38-year-old Muscotah man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident two miles southeast of Muscotah.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2000 Volvo driven by Robert Peck was traveling north on Bourbon Road and failed to follow a curve in the road.  The car entered the west ditch and rolled several times.

The Patrol says Peck, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken the Atchison hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The accident was reported about 1:15 Wednesday afternoon.
