(KLZA) 25 year old Drue Miller of Fals City was arrested Thursday night by Richardson County Deputy Sheriff Lewis Barker.
According to a probable cause affidavit Deputy Barker saw a pickup owned by Miller enter the KWIK Shop parking lot in Falls City. Barker states he knew Miller was suspended from driving and pulled in behind him. After checking on Miller’s license Deputy Barker arrested him for driving under suspension.
Another man got out of Millers’s pickup. Miller explained the bags in the back of his pickup belonged to the other man. During an inventory of the bags the affidavit alleges Deputy Nincehelser discovered pipes used for smoking illegal narcotics, one of which contained a measurable amount of what appeared to be methamphetamine, and a large amount of bags used in the distribution of illegal drugs.
The investigation continues. Miller was placed in the Richardson County Jail.
