B&B & Centralia Highlight Kanzaland Area Volleyball Teams in Latest KVA rankings
With the high school fall sports season in full swing the Kansas Volleyball Association (KVA) has released its first set of rankings since the preseason rankings.
The Kanzaland area teams in the rankings, almost mirror that of the preseason poll with three Twin Valley League teams leading the way. The defending Class 1A-Division II state champs, the B&B Falcons stay atop the the poll in their class, checking in at number one, while the Centralia Panthers who started the season ranked second in Class 1A-Division I, stay put also in the rankings.
The only other Kanzaland team in the rankings is the Washington County Tigers who like Centralia started the season ranked second in their respective class (2A) are still ranked in that spot.
Two other area schools are right outside the top five looking in with the Wetmore Cardinals (Class 1A-Division II) and the Jeff West Tigers (Class 4A) both receiving some votes.
