( KNZA )-- Plans are underway for the annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner in Hiawatha.
The Mission Board of the First Baptist Church along with the Melster Family will be sponsors for this year dinner, which will be held on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd from 12 noon to 1 at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center located at 210 Lodge Road.
As in years past, organizers say the dinner will be a success due only to the support of the community. Financial gifts, donations of supplies and volunteers are needed.

Volunteers are needed to cook on the mornings of Wednesday, November 21st and Thanksgiving Day, greet, serve, deliver meals and clean up.
