(KNZA)-An Arkansas man, walking in a White Cloud parking lot near K7 Highway, requires hospitalized treatment after being struck by a pick-up truck.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says it happened just minutes after 8:00 Tuesday morning when 60-year-old old Robinson resident Gary Ramey was unable to see the pedestrian due to the morning sun being in his eyes.
Struck was 51-year-old Randy Chittendenn, who was transported from the scene to Heartland Regional Medical Center in Saint Joseph, Missouri for treatment of injuries.
Ramey was not hurt.
