(KAIR) -- Three family members from Saint Joseph were arrested over the weekend for allegedly taking over a thousand dollars in goods from an Atchison store.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says 33-year-old Brian Ritter, his brother, 31-year-old Jeffrey Ritter, and his brother’s wife, 41-year-old Regina Ritter, were arrested Saturday night . (Play Audio)
Wilson says they suspect the Ritter’s allegedly were involved in multiple thefts from Wal-Mart on previous occasions and investigators have presented evidence to the County Attorney for review.
Jeffrey and Regina Ritter have posted a 10 thousand dollar bond and will make their next appearances in Atchison County District Court on February 25th.
Brian Ritter, who also faces a count of aggravated burglary for allegedly being on Wal-Mart’s banned list, remains in Atchison County Jail on 25 thousand dollars bond.
