Falls City School Board Approves Bus Purchase
02/28/2013

(KTNC) - The Falls City Board of Education held its annual planning session last weekend.
The planning session included determining the strategic direction for the district, strategic analysis, and board development.
The board also acted on one item of business.  That was authorizing the purchase of a new school bus from Blue Bird.  District Transportation Director Rob Baker recommended during the regular February Board meeting that the board accept Blue Bird’s bid of $80,861.  That was the lowest of three bids the district received for a new bus.
The new bus will replace a 1996 bus that will have around 195,000 miles on it at the end of the school year.
