(KNZA)--No injuries are reported following a late morning fire at a Brown County salvage operation.
The emergency siren was sounded in Horton just minutes before 10:00, following the report of a car fire at Spicer's Salvage, located on 180th Street, off U.S. Highway 73, north of Horton.
Fire crews rushed to the scene,with passersby witnessing black smoke billowing into the sky.
The fire was extInguished a short time later and no one was hurt.
