( KMZA )-The parking lot at the Nemaha County Training Center in Sabetha will be replaced.
The Nemaha County Commission Monday accepted the low bid submitted by AHRS Construction of Bern in the amount of $38,400 for the project.
Bids were received from three companies.
NCTC Director Alice Lackey said the organization will pay $10,000 of the total cost of the project.
In other business, County Solid Waste Supervisor Dennis Ronnebaum presented bids for a new skid loader for the solid waste department.

Following discussion, the commission voted to accept a bid from Lang Diesel Inc. for a Bobcat S650 skid loader at a cost of 96-hundred dollars with the trade-in of a similar machine.
County Senior Services Director Fern Odum informed commissioners they have been approved for the purchase of a new bus for Seneca. The county’s match for the purchase of the bus will be 12-thousand dollars.
