05/06/2013

(KTNC) - The latest exhibit at the Stalder Gallery in Falls City is a homecoming.
The exhibition of the works of Falls City native Allan Tubach opened with a well-attended gallery talk Friday evening.
Tubach spoke about the 20 paintings in the exhibition and answered a few questions.  He says the works represent a microcosm of the 958 works of art he’s produced over his career.  (play audio  :34)
Most of the works are from the collection of Merle and Marcia Stalder.   (play audio   :33)
Tubach was born in Falls City and grew up on a farm south of town.  The Tubach exhibition will be at the Stalder Gallery in the Falls City Library and Art Center until June 22nd.  It can be viewed during regular Library hours.
