Oskaloosa Man Pleads Guilty to Aggravated Burglary

(KAIR) -- A 22-year-old Oskaloosa man has pled guilty to a charge related to a January burglary as part of a plea deal.

Darian Richter Thursday morning entered the plea to a charge of aggravated burglary in Jefferson County District Court.

In exchange, charges of criminal damage and theft were dismissed.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Richter for breaking into a residence in the 500 block of Monroe Street in Oskaloosa while the residents were home.

He originally pled not guilty to the charges in early March.

Ssentencing is set for June 6th.

Richter remains in the Jefferson County Jail.
