( KMZA )--A West Des Moines, Iowa-based company is continuing its plans to build a wind farm in Marshall County.
That’s what Marshall County Economic Development Director George McCune told county commissioners this week.
McCune says RPM Access L.L.C. wants to get the project started this year because federal subsidies for winds farms are expected to expire at the start of 2014.
The Marysville Advocate reports the company is actively trying to find a market for the energy the wind farm will produce.
The wind farm, which would consist of 35 wind turbines, is to be built between Beattie and Summerfield.
