Triumph Foods Plans $7.5 Million Epansion
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (AP)-Triumph Foods says it is planning a $7.5 million expansion at its St. Joseph plant, which will add about 105 new jobs.
The company, which exports premium pork products, said Thursday the project will include an 11,000-square-foot expansion and equipment investments.
Triumph Chief Executive Officer Rick Hoffman did not release any other details of the expansion project.
The St. Joseph News-Press reports this is the second major expansion at the plant in a year. Triumph announced last October that it would invest $10 million to build a 30,000-square-foot addition. That project created 30 jobs and more refrigerated space.
