Trooper Chab To Be Honored During Law Enforcement Memorial Week

 (KLZA) National Law Enforcement Memorial Week begins Sunday.  The week honors all officers, locally, statewide and nationally, who have given their lives in the line of duty.

The public is invited to attend a brief memorial service at the Catholic Cemetery, east of Falls City on Wednesday, May 15th at 1 p-m honoring the late, State Trooper Robert J. Chab who gave his life in the line of duty on January 6th, 1984.

Trooper Robert Chab, badge #221, was appointed to the Nebraska State Patrol in 1963. He gave his life in the line of duty on January 6, 1984, when he was struck by a car while performing vehicle checks near Falls City, Nebraska.
