(KNZA) -- A 29 year old Holton woman is dead after a Saturday night crash in Osage County.
Tasha Arketa, of Holton was killed when a vehicle she was riding left the roadway and struck a tree. The Kansas Highway Patrol responded to the accident just before 11:00 PM Saturday night. The patrol reports that the driver of the vehicle, Daniel Martin of Netawaka, lost control of the vehicle while he was westbound on 125th Street four miles north of Scranton.
Martin was injured in the accident and transported to a Topeka Hospital. The patrol reported that, while Martin was wearing his seat belt, it appears that Arketa was not.
